A liposomal silicon ingredient. It pairs the most highly absorbed form of silicon, a mesoporous silica nanoparticle (MSN), with Vesta's LipoQuest™ liposomal delivery platform. This ensures the active is protected through the gut where it converts to OSA and is delivered for cellular uptake.
A tan to off-white crystalline, water-dispersible pro-liposomal powder, packaged in UV-protective bags with a 36-month shelf life. As a dry powder it offers easier handling, lower shipping cost, and better shelf stability than liquid liposomal systems. It’s suitable for delivery in capsules, tablets, stick packs, and beverages.
Cell permeability assays (LC-MS and ELISA) show the LipoQuest™ platform achieves better uptake of the active than non-liposomal delivery. In vitro data revealed intracellular bioactive silicon from LipoOrganiSil™ was about 2× one competitor and nearly 15% above another, confirmed by both UV-VIS and ICP-OES. In a rat model, oral dosing produced a marked rise in plasma silicon.
